Writing & Comics Labs
Create characters, stories, comics and zines
Structured creative labs with professional writers and artists, ending with a zine, publication or exhibition of your work.
Writing & Comics Labs are part of Creative Pathways, Kosmovision’s family of creative programs. Each Lab runs over several weeks and brings together creative writing, character development, comics, visual storytelling and worldbuilding, working towards a finished creative project.
Labs run with local councils, community partners and at Boyd Community Hub, for young people aged 10–25. Each Lab has its own age group, such as Junior Labs (10–12), 12–15 or 16–25. No previous writing, drawing or arts experience is required, and everyone is welcome, including neurodivergent young people.
