Creative Wellbeing & Participation
Creative, inclusive and community-based sessions for young people
Creative Wellbeing & Participation is a community-based program that supports communication, confidence, social connection and meaningful participation through creative, accessible and sensory-aware group experiences.
Participation is guided by each person’s interests, comfort, support needs and personal goals. There is no expectation of performance or finished outcomes.
Activities may be revisited over time to support familiarity, confidence, communication and a growing sense of participation, belonging and connection in community settings.
What this program offers
Small-group,
community-based sessions
Suitable for young people with disability and/or diverse support needs
Inclusive of mobility supports, AAC and non-verbal communication
Sessions support communication, confidence, emotional regulation, belonging and everyday participation through creative, sensory and group-based practice. Participants may take part in different ways, including observing, listening, choosing, creating, resting and rejoining at their own pace.
Activities and group experiences can be adapted to each participant’s communication profile, regulation needs, interests, preferred ways of engaging and support requirements.
At Kosmovision, creativity is not simply one activity within the day – it is the method through which participation, communication, regulation and belonging are supported over time.
