DESCRIPTION:VOID Visual Arts Studio – Boyd Community Hub\nShort event description\nAn artist-led visual arts studio for adults aged 18+ exploring drawing\, painting\, collage\, clay and mixed media in an inclusive\, neuroaffirming and participant-shaped environment at Boyd Community Hub. \nA colourful void. Fill it your way.\nPart of Kosmovision’s Creative Pathways program\, VOID offers regular studio time for adults aged 18+ to explore materials\, develop ideas and build creative confidence at their own pace. \nSessions support self-expression\, creative development and connection in a welcoming\, flexible and low-pressure environment. \nNo previous art experience is required. Beginners\, emerging artists and people wishing to strengthen an existing creative practice are welcome. \nWhat can you explore?\nParticipants can work with a range of materials and creative approaches\, including: \n\nDrawing and painting\nCollage and mixed media\nClay and tactile making\nRecycled and found materials\nVisual storytelling and symbolic expression\nPersonal projects and optional collaborative work\n\nA participant-shaped studio\nChoice is central to the studio. Participants can choose the materials they use\, the ideas they explore\, their pace and the level of guidance they would like. \nYou can work independently\, create alongside others or take part in collaborative projects. Sharing your work is always optional. \nWho is it for?\nVOID is for adults aged 18+ who are interested in exploring visual art in a supportive community setting. \nThe studio welcomes: \n\nBeginners and emerging artists\nPeople returning to a creative practice\nNeurodivergent adults\nPeople with disability\nParticipants who benefit from a flexible\, sensory-aware and low-pressure environment\n\nParticipants may attend independently or with a support worker.
