DESCRIPTION:Creative wellbeing and social-emotional skills for young people\nKosmovision is offering a creative wellbeing program for young people at Canterbury Neighbourhood Centre. \nThis program provides a safe\, calm and inclusive space where participants can develop social-emotional skills\, communication and self-expression through creativity\, storytelling and collaborative activities. \nSessions combine creative exploration\, social interaction and practical life skills\, supporting confidence\, identity and community participation. \nThe program is designed for small groups and diverse communication styles\, including participants who may use AAC or benefit from structured and supportive environments. \nActivities are adapted so each participant can engage and communicate in ways that feel comfortable and meaningful for them. \nFamilies have also expressed interest in strengthening life skills\, literacy and numeracy\, which are gently integrated through creative and practical activities. \nWhat participants develop\n• Social-emotional skills• Communication and self-expression• Confidence and identity• Creativity and imagination• Social connection and participation• Life skills through creative activities \nProgram Details\nLocationCanterbury Neighbourhood Centre \nScheduleWednesdays · 9:00am – 2:00pm \nDuration5-hour community wellbeing session \nNDIS participants may be able to use Capacity Building – Increased Social & Community Participation funding.
